Choice Makers - for 9 to 14 year olds
We meet regularly on a Friday evening from 6:30 till 8pm at the Cloud (St Chads youth space). Be prepared for lots of games, quiz evenings, movie and popcorn nights, craft events, car washes, sausage sizzles, and sleep overs, to list but a few of the activities we have participated in recently. SUMMER HOLIDAY PROGRAMME. Monday 4 January to Friday 8 January 2010
ABOUT ST CHAD'S SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES. They prove to be extremely well attend, forty to fifty children are enrolled in each programme and we unfortunately have to turn away another fifteen to twenty. We do not pre-register children from one programme to the next and only take enrolments about three weeks prior to the start date which gives all children an opportunity to attend. We can never have too many helpers so if you would like to lend a hand for a morning or a whole day please contact the church office. OPEN HOME FOUNDATION FAMILY FUN DAY. On the 29th November 2009 from 1pm-4pm ( At the Yarrow Stadium ( Rugby Stadium) Maritahi Street) the Collaborative is holding a Family Fun day. The entry fee is an adult. Families can arrive earlier and have a picnic lunch but activities start at 1pm. Activities is centred on team work as a whanau. The Police, Army and Fire Service will have activities there for whanau to compete in; there will be a treasure hunt, face painting, free sausages, water and other activities.
